slovane_02Slované

A few members of SPAFi decided to form a new film production company LEGEND FILM PRODUCTION Ltd. The goal of the company is to make the first Czech full length feature movie ‘Slovane’, an historical drama documenting the clash between Slavic culture and christianity. The movie will be shot using 3D stereoscopic technology, following in the style of James Cameron (director of Avatar, Titanic and Terminator).

slovane_01We believe that 3D stereoscopic technology in the next step forward in cinematography, due to new markets such as IMAX and 3D TV’s being made accessible to the public, contributing towards 3D’s huge growth in popularity. James Cameron’s cutting edge approach to this technology in the making of Avatar forecasts a new wave in using such technology to it’s maximum and pushing the digital film industry into a new era. Just recently an agreement has been signed between most of the USA distribution companies to only produce 3D stereoscopic movies, so as to attract people back into the cinema circuit.
